I'm on a quest to find a family doctor is good for 18 months my little girl the i doctor now for it is very rude and MS is so forgetful of his shots and I'm tired of it a good doctor in Southeast Texas in Houston if anyone can recommend a good doctor and I want to know about his experience would be helpful …. Michelle, you are absolutely right to want a doctor who has a good relationship with. More than once, I have not because of my discomfort with the doctor. Let's face it – You are putting your child's life in this person's hands. You have every right to ask and answer the questions, not just a polite way, but to his satisfaction and understanding. The best advice I can give is to ask your doctor in several pediatricians in the area and ensure that everyone accepts their health coverage. Take this list to your friends and see if any of them have had experiences with these doctors. When you meet the doctor, I tell them (such and such) speaks very highly of them and you are watching forward to the relationship. (No word on another doctor.) Many times, is that personal accountability makes visits to the office (especially when you have a child ill) more enjoyable. Every specialist I've seen over the years, now is a personal friend of mine. These professionals do not rise and intimidate – that really matters. Show them you care about your family and I guarantee that will return the favor. Again, I repeat – in a personal, local recommendations of the first, your doctor and then run those names by their friends. You and your baby will find a setting that is right for you.
