Creative people: What is a nice decoration for my room?
My room is green, my quilt is orange and white (sounds weird, but it works) and I have magenta / pink accents in the room. The space above my desk is completely naked and I would put something decorative / creative over it. The desktop is pretty high for what it covers most of the wall, but some of the wall remains. I've also discovered another wall that is the need for cute decorations. I'm open to anything, but maybe something else with my color scheme (orange green and pink), a million thanks!
Create your own art. Find some inexpensive corkboard at the hardware store. Here's a fun piece of fabric that incorporates orange and pink details. Place the fabric on the front of the corkboard, then fold the tail over the back and hot there. (Put it on as you are stretching canvas – alternating sides so you can get a good pair and hold). If you're feeling really creative, put some tape on it in a pattern (horizontal, diagonal, whatever). I would use green ribbon to tie in the color of your room. And viola! You have a nice piece of homemade art that ties everything together. It is also very functional in that can catch things like photos or cards, if so desired.
